During September 2024 western NC was visited by a hurricane causing much property damage and destruction of telephone and internet. As an elderly man with damage to my residence and never having to submit a homeowners insurance claim, I was very lost about the process. We had over 50 downed trees that had to be cleared so we could get access to our home after hurricane Helene. It was difficult to get a cleanup crew in a timely manner so it was necessary to have multiple small jobs done. My claims manager, Luke Lanier, was very helpful in explaining how I needed to get the paperwork together, invoices, and receipts to expedite my claim.
