Auto-Owners Insurance has been awful to deal with throughout our claim. After a confirmed tornado and severe wind and hail event in our area, they have repeatedly refused to properly acknowledge or cover the damage to our home. Despite obvious storm-related damage and multiple neighboring homes receiving full roof replacements, our claim has been delayed, minimized, and pushed back without reasonable explanation. Working with this company has been the worst experience in my life. The communication with the estimator has been 0. No plan or next steps have been sent out. We have a long list of questions that haven't been answered. The mold removal guy has even been prioritized over us. The estimate process has been just as bad. We mentioned to Tom that there are large items missing from our estimate and incorrect product replacement adjustment. We where also told that a woman would be reaching out to us for replacing our personal items... read more
Very disrespectful, I left a voicemail and received no follow-up. I called back to get a status update, and I was treated like I was being impatient. What a nightmare. I wish I could give a zero rating.
I do not recommend. The way they treat people is quite shocking. The agents are very disrespectful.
