This place is the ultimate in buyer beware. I used a credit card to buy my truck. This is important when you call in and have the finance guy say he will send the title when he gets to it. Maybe 30 days or more. He claimed it had a lien on it from the previous dealer. It didn’t. I don’t know what the real story was, but I know he was tell me some nonsense. Awful customer service, drove over an hour to buy a Jeep and arrived to find the Jeep dirty, needed to be jumpstarted, low fuel light and had a check engine light on for two codes. Very unprofessional staff.
This dealership is the worst I have ever been to vehicles here are not safe at all drove over an hour and a half to go look at a Durango r/t that had higher mileage but good service records on car fax and looked good in pictures but when I got there I took it on a test drive to advance auto parts to get the codes checked came back they threw a new Ecm in and never had it tuned for the vehicle so no traction control and parking brake light was on then further investigation showed it had front end damage and was missing quite ... read more

Fraud dealership that only cheats!
Drove there two times and both times not a good experience.
Scheduled an appointment to check out a 2016 Ford Escape. The salesman must have forgotten our appointment as he had no idea why we were there. He had to jump the car to get it started. The car had so many scratches and missing pieces that he justified with it being a used car. There was a huge piece missing that cover the window. Which when it rained it would definitely leak into the car. I’m sure there were more cosmetic problems that we could not pinpoint since it had just rained. RecommendedI had a great experience purchasing my 2013 Ford Escape from The Champaign Auto Mall. I was skeptical at first but Clark is a fantastic salesman and really helped me get into the vehicle that I love. I had some problems a couple weeks after buying the car, but Clark and the manager were quick to help out and make it right for me. Very thankful for this dealership and will 10/10 go again.
If you had a horrible experience with the Auto Mall Of Champaign I urge you to file a Consumer Complaint with the Attorney General. After the Attorney General receives enough complaints with a business they will open up their own investigation. Your complaint will stay on file for 5 years and only takes 20 minutes to complete. It’s not fair how this business treats their customers. Let’s put a stop to this!!!
