A clean, professional shop – Auto Doctor was recommended by a friend who does their computer work. I made an appointment to check out my A/C. First impression: clean, tidy, very professional. The service writer took my info and assigned the A/C man to the job. I observed the general action of the shop and was impressed. They do windows! go somewhere else I recently took my car to auto doctor and had some repairs done, Ron was very talkative and responsive to my request for preventative maintenance on the car. When we went to pay for the repairs it was a whole different story, I thought they were borderline rude and felt like my business was not welcome. The secretary made me feel like I was at a fast food restaurant, and Ron did not even acknowledge I was there. Very Good!! Auto Doctor has been servicing my vehicles for many years now. Ron has always been very honest regarding recommendations, and is competitive in pricing service and repairs. Beyond that Auto Doctors employees are professional, and knowledgeable. The shop is always kept clean and they also arrange transportation to my work or home which is a huge help. I have referred family and friends to this shop and they also are very happy to have found such a nice group to do business with. They are the best!
Auto Doctor is ripping off students! Had a smog test there and the service was fine. Had college daughter take car in for brake noise. They could not give an estimate of any costs ahead of time. Called me and said there was nothing wrong. Test drove it again and said it needed new brake pads, routers, etc. and said cost was $660 to $1000!!!!!!!!! Took the car to Redding and had the work done for under $300. Ripping off students in Chico-that is what the Auto Doctor is doing.
Very Bad I had my car into the auto doctor some time ago and feel I was takin advantage of. Not only were they not fair on the price, it took me several trips to get my car repaired right. I took my vehcile to a friend of mine and was told half the parts they installed were not neccessory and cost me a lot of money I didnt have. I would not reccommend this shop to anyone !!!!
SERVICE YOU CAN TRUST!! Auto Doctor is the best!!! I dont trust anyone else with my familys vehicles. Ron is always on my side and he makes me feel comfortable, I trust him. Reccomend everyone I know to him. You can be sure your getting a fair shake. Love the loaner cars too!! Oh yeah and my windows are always clean when I leave ....its the little things..
BAD I took my jeep in to Auto Doctor because it was over heating. I was told the radiator needed to be replaced and i got the work done, I asked for the radiator back and took it to another mechanic they could find no major defects. a week later i had the same problem. I brought my jeep back to Auto Doctor and was charged an additional 60 dollars for them too check it out again. this time i was told it was the fan module witch i believe was the original problem. Best Shop By Far! Auto Doctor is by far the best shop I have ever been to! From the friendly faces that come to greet you at the door to the quality of service that you recieve, there is no compairison around in Chico. I highly recommend Auto Doctor to anyone and everyone!
