Formerly known as the California Speedway, the Auto Club Speedway hosts some of the biggest car and bike races in the world, including the Superbike 100K, Historic Sports Car Festival, California 100 and Toyota Indy 400. Set up in the year 1997, it also plays venue to the NASCAR races held in this part of the state. The 2-mile (3.2-kilometer) D-shaped track sits below the 36,030-seat upper grandstand and the 42,490-seat lower grandstand. The action moves fast here, so don't wait to cruise in.

I was very disappointed at the race on Sunday that out in the Fan Zone and shopping area there was a live band dropping the "F" bomb left and right!! You couldn't get away from it because it was so loud!! There are families with little children everywhere! If you want to do that at a rock concert were people would expect to hear that, that's one thing but Nascar has always been publicized as a Family sport! Very poor taste and not necessary! RecommendedAuto Club Speedway I was very disappointed this year. First with loading in I arrived at 05:00 was finally let into the infield at 13:00 . No real store !!! Was not allowed entrance to the fan zone early we have never used this in eleven years with hard cards I made several phone calls we’ll call him a gentleman. I have been a ticket holder since the speedway was built. Entering through the gates yesterday was a complete joke. 45 minutes in line, no security stopping people from cutting in line! Ever since Jillian left this event has gone down hill!
After all the racing venues I have been to in my life, ACS is rated NO.#1 in my book. And, having it only 1/2 hr away, puts the track sure close to my backyard. My husband working right next door, what could be much better! :)

Auto Club Speedway has it all. Great personnel. Convenient and clean facilities. Great food at the concessions. One of my favorite venues.
