I brought my car into the Auto Center and Toy shop on Friday for a second opinion. Sam was able to fix it within one day for 1/30th my original (inaccurate) quote. It's clear that Sam takes the time to diagnose your issues and not just lazily Google some error codes like most mechanics nowadays, and that is greatly appreciated.
This place is awesome.
I had my 1982 Alfa Romeo Spider with an inoperable clutch towed in to Sam's Toy Shop. Sam listened to my problems with it and how I and 2 other guys tried to get the clutch fixed. Sam got in - tried the clutch a couple times and then noticed that my carpet had folded over and was partially blocking my clutch pedals travel. He straightened the carpet and "presto"! the problem went away. Sam then spent the next 30 minutes or so checking the car and advising me about ways to make her better.
