My experience with this AAG has been terrible. Hired them to appraise a vehicle that was approx 1000 miles from me. They send me what turned out to be 30% blurry pics of vehicle, anything that had text like VIN labels, paperwork was all blurry. Appraisal was worthless, the appraiser missed multiple scratches and paint chips on vehicle. Called to get this rectified only to have the owner call me and start yelling at me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We do agree that some of the photos were blurry and we did send our agent out a 2nd time at no additional charge to take the photos again. We supplied those photos to the client. We also wrote down the identifying numbers and information on the inspection report and provided that information to the customer along with additional information documenting the vehicle's condition. Auto Appraisal Group is a disreputable company and they are a rip off. Do not use them for a vehicle appraisal or for any vehicle-related business for any reason. Why? This company was hired to perform an appraisal for a legal matter. Their local agent contacted me to arrange the appraisal and stated that he had to take it for a road test. I said that I would not allow the vehicle to be driven. The agent said "okay". The agent came to look the vehicle over and once again said he had to do a road test. Called and asked when my appraisal would be done. They told me next week. I was not happy about it.but l said ok .then he said have a good day.and I said I would try to. Then a couple of hours later I get an appraisal I feel was very low . I would not recommend this company.

He called to check on the status and we expedited the appraisal since he indicated he was in a hurry. We cannot guarantee the value that the customer would like see. Our appraisal is based on market research and the condition of the vehicle. We are happy to discuss our findings with our clients if they call with questions. I contacted Auto Appraisal Group (AAG) over the phone and talked with a Dustin regarding a vehicle I was considering buying. I told him I wanted three things: 1) an inspection of the condition of the vehicle; 2) confirmation of the authenticity of the seller's representation of the make and model of the vehicle; 3) and of course an appraisal of the market value (at least a verbal opinion). We gave him a description of services and quoted a total fee of $***. He agreed and requested we proceed. This company uses the trade in value as a beginning basis to appraise your car. Now who wants to sell a car for trade in value?

Different types of appraisal services require different types of starting values and methodology. We did not appraise your car for resale.
I used their pre-inspection service. I was satisfied with that part, but they state on the website that if you contract them for that service, for an additional fee of $** they will provide you with an additional official appraisal if you end up buying the car. I bought the car and admittedly almost a year had passed before I contacted them for the appraisal cert, They informed me they would not honor the original price of $** and that the car needed to be re-inspected for $***. We can only provide an appraisal certificate for a vehicle at the time of our inspection. We can not document the current condition if it has been a year since we saw the vehicle. We are happy to provide the $** appraisal certificate based on the condition at the time of last year's inspection. If you want a current condition report and value certificate we will need to see the vehicle again and there is a standard fee for that service. We apologize if there was any miscommunication on our part.
