Poor warranty service and customer communication I had a Rheem heat pump hot water system installed by Australian Hot Water West in June 2022. The unit developed a loud fan noise issue shortly after installation, which they fixed at no charge in October 2023. The same fan problem recurred in August 2025 - just over 3 years after installation. If I can, I will not put a single star into this review. But without a star, I cannot post. Not to trust this company as they will try to squeeze everything they can to make more money from you. They will claim to be upfront with charges. They will charge you and change some parts and say that they will come back the following week. Then, charge you more the next week. That's how they make money.
Absolutely thrilled with service, price, communication and overall business of Australian Hot Water West. I had previously called another company who quoted more than double that of Australian Hot Water West. I called Australian Hot Water and they came out the same day, replaced the hot water system and were absolutely delightful to deal with. The installers were on time, respectful and extremely knowledgeable. No upselling, no scamming, just genuine in their business and approach. Thank you.

We replaced our gas storage with a continuous flow gas hot water heater through Australian Hot Water Seven Hills. Their staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and professional - particularly Billy and Matt. They gave useful and good advice, including alternatives to gas, which helped us make an informed decision about our purchase. Their quote was competitive. The work was done quickly and professionally. We are very happy with the end result. Highly recommended.
