Australian Bakery Cafe went over and above to correct an innocent mistake in some horrendous weather conditions, which means that a large group of Aussies in California will be eating meat pies and sausage rolls, and sizzling sausages, at their Australia Day party. ABC just rocked the pie and the customer service!
The matchsticks and sausage rolls are amazing. Would recommend to anyone!
What a great place! I can't wait to go back. Delicious food
I first got hooked on this down under bakery at a music festival but I tell you all what going to the bakery is even better. I absolutely love the sausage rolls, Ned Kelly and Meat/Cheese pies and lets not forget the plethora of sweet treats at the end (Matchstick is awesome). Yeah honestly the food took awhile (20 minutes) but I could have waited alot longer for the delicious food. My only real complaint is that I need one closer to tampa florida.
Had the best meal and dessert yesterday! Atmosphere and employees are great. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
I told Neville, and I'll tell youse all. Americans come here because it's an interesting flavour, and one they're not used to. It's good food. But what they don't realise, is that the Australians come here because not only is it a great flavour, but there's nothing in this country that recreates the exact experience of eating an Australian meat pie like the Australian bakery cafe. The kids & I had a fabulous lunch today!! The meat pie & veggie purée soup - I had was delish & the kids had the Dundee Turkey sandwich which they both loved!!! The desserts were of the wall also!!! Highly recommend & can't wait to go back!!
Amazing meat pies and sausage rolls. And you can never go wrong with a lammo roll. Food is always fresh and delicious. Reminds me of home and always a great treat!!
We made the trip from Florida especially to enjoy a taste of home. Food was good..but not as hot as it should be.....a little more attention is needed to the cleanliness of the bakery. It was really grubby and toilet was awful. Not enough staff....took a Looonnnnggg time before we got our order. Good luck .
