I brought my truck to Austin's Pro Max. They charged $1100 and the headlights were worse. I wanted to upgrade from a halogen to an led. hey were after market headlights with wiring issues. ******** recommended taking this to the dealer to fix the problem. The dealer fixed the problem for more money. I asked for a refund from Austin's, but the didn't come through. The question was simple; "I paid you to take care of the problem... Mr. ********* brought his truck in stating he wanted LED headlights. When the technician went to install the new lights, he found all wiring to the headlights was bare wires twisted together with just tape wrapped around them. When we brought this to his attention, Mr. ********* stated a shop named ********** had done wiring work recently on the lighting system. 1964 imperial tranny swap out /tow truck return car to shop 2nd time as oil running out of cooler line / now one week later car is over a quart low on tranny fluid again with steady drip onto my garage floor/// after dropping $ 1400 to get the job done right
JUST SPENT OVER $ 1400 just to swap out my old transmission with another tranny at the pro max shop /// mechanic said car made no noise at shop but huge noise at highway speed /// was okay to drive home // they didnt know how to solve the noise situation :: WE DROVE IT HOME FOUND THE TRANNY WAS 3 QUARTS LOW ON FLUID / FILLED IT UP NOISE WENT AWAY // WE HOPE THERE NEGLIDENCE DIDNT HURT THE TRANNY/// WE NEED TO RETURN TO SHOP AS A OIL SEAL WAS NOT REPLACED ON COOLING LINE AND CAR LEAKED OIL ALL OVER DRIVEWAY
Promax Auto Repair ******** ********** did a poor job on my truck went in for a battery draw told Promax the radio wasn't working they end up putting in a supposedly ***** dollar alternator and charge me another $700 to replace it and supposedly check for battery draws did not fix it brought it back had it for 2 days said they couldn't fix it $2,000 later I had to take it to **** dealership they did a 30 minute draw test on my radio found out that's the problem 417 amp draw took out the fuse 14 amp draw which is perfect I wi... read more

My muffler and exhaust was completely destroyed. My dealership warranty did not cover for it and they quoted me 1200 and they needed 3 days to receive parts and a little over 2 hours to repair. Came here and I was quoted 200, and work was done in less than an hour. They have great customer service and helped me right as I pulled into the garage. Gave me great advice options that could save me money and would be beneficial. Overall I am very happy with my visit.
contacted several shops around the Tacoma area to have work done on my son's car, Drove the car in and got an upfront estimate and was completed in less then an hour. Beat all other quotes in the area and did it in a professional and timely manor. Best in the area by far,
tech I'm a former employee with 20 yrs under my belt,from dealerships to mom & pop shops.They have no training for their techs, or the right equipment for muffler brake or radiator.but they'll tell you we can rebuild your engin for you,sure they don't have the tools.while I was working there I saw the mgr trying to pull a vibration dampener (hooked to the crank) with a pry bar,you have to use a puller,duh.screw stands,on board lathe, radiator flush machine bender adaptor,a/c machine,all out of date or non existant,only one s... read more
