Paul Goocher Horrible Brake Specialists Total Car Care Rip Off Austin -Hutto Texas We had the unfortunately had used Brake Specialists in Austin & Round Rock & Hutto Texas to try to maintain our fleet and they destroyed our fleet within 6-month period and charged us over 24k they would repair something supposedly and as soon as we would try to run the vehicles they would either break down because of the same reason they had improperly fixed or we would take it back and they would charge us additional fees and say something e... read more
A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE – We were preparing for a trip to visit folks in Canada so, wanting the car (2005 Cadillac - 44,400 miles) in good shape, the fluids and brakes were to be inspected and serviced as required. During inspection it was determined that the rear shocks should be replaced and OOPS! the steering rack was deemed bad and so was replaced. $2,100+ later we were on our way and lost the power steering near Wichita, KS. Diesel Power!!! – My turbo went out on my Ford diesel and Ford wanted my first born for payment. I read the reviews for this place and inquired about them installing a turbo I bought for the truck. They were more than happy to help me out. I am back to blowing black smoke and taking people at the line. Nice waiting room too!

Paul is the first person you see and you know what they say about first impressions,,,he is very friendly and will always take the time to chat with you and explain anything you dont understand. AWESOME SERVICE! – First time customer who will come back time and time again! Paul was so friendly and helpful; took the time to give me prices over the phone. DID NOT nickle and dime me....actually said I didn't need a couple things another shop recommended!! And not only that but he saved me over $800 dollars in the process. Very clean shop, friendly, knowledgeable staff and excellent value. I will certainly be a return customer!!
Brake Specialists Plus (Hutto) – With all the glaring review, I was not happy with the way they nickle and dime you. I wanted my brakes bled, period and thats all I wanted. They come back and tells me that a bolt needed to be replace and they took the bolt out. It cost an extra $30.00 to replace it. This people should not be removing parts from my car unless the customer can see the real problem. Then they use the good old scary tactics and the ususal sales pressure. Hutto's best total car care!!! – The team at Brake Specialists are experts! My daughter gave me the multi-special coupons as a gift a couple of years ago which introduced me to Total Car Care. It was a great gift that saved me a lot of money and introduced me to a knowledgeable, kind and caring service team.
