I would definitely recommend living here. Great apartments and they do a very nice job of keeping the area nice and clean. Lots of small things that really make it stand out. If you want clean, safe, affordable, and good staff, come here.
Gigantic roaches, silverfish, and spiders despite cleaning everyday and trying every possible treatment. When I moved in, the floors were literally covered in spider poop.
They barge in to your apartment without any notice besides a knock. As a woman living by herself, I would not recommend Austin Waters, or for anyone who values privacy. A man was supposedly checking water meters and unlocked my door after knocking(without any warning such as an email, a text, or a letter for a case that was NOT an emergency). After talking to management, I was told that he did the same to other apartments just “because he was in the area.” I finally moved out and have felt less anxious since then.
This is a beautiful community and the leasing office is very helpful in terms of maintenance and service issues. HEB, AMC,QT are walkable. But safety is a concern. packages, door deliveries left at the door steps get stolen. my friend's car got broken into and they attempted to steal the car. There are no surveillance cameras anywhere in the community except the entrances and when checked with the front office they were not of much help.
