Austin Professional Painting did not perform services as promised and contracted. They used the inferior Sherman Williams Super Deck (tends to peel and flake) instead of the premium Benjamin Moore Woodlux (better color and longevity), as I requested, APP recommended and as was promised on our contract. The Standard Operating Procedure for staining new cedar is preparing (sanding) the cedar surface to ensure the stain adheres properly. There was no preparation.
