All APA are a nightmare across the board! Save yourself the trouble, go see real pain management doctors! Not injection freaks that want to skim your wallet and could give a flying flip about your pain level!
I am unhappy with my care at Austin Pain Associates. First of all, they have less than ideal customer service across the board. I work in customer service, and not once speaking to anyone in the clinic or on the phone have I felt like a valued patient. I have never felt like a valued patient when with my pain doctors at APA. I have never felt like I have had a solid pain management plan. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes my pain is so severe that I can't leave bed. Horrible place since Dr. Feferman left. They do not care and will not help you with pain unless you’re getting injections. That’s all they want to do is $300 injections and give you no pain medicine at all. They do not make money on prescriptions only on their injections. This place is gone downhill I am now at a different pain doctor as well and he is awesome.
