If you are looking for a new PCP, do NOT use Austin. My family and I recently moved to Greenfield and we needed a new PCP - it does not get any worse than this kid. Arrogant, judgmental, unresponsive, zero bedside manner, and utterly incompetent. I'm not sure how/if he graduated and even more unsure how he's maintained his license. In my opinion, he's an enormous liability to Hancock Health given his approach to patient care. Just awful.
I ended up in a bad way after many years without primary care. A heart attack and several life changing diagnosis landed me in his office just yesterday. He immediately slotted himself into my corner, and really made it feel like he’s the type of doctor to fight for his patients. He is on a whole other level when it comes to the support he gives.
This doctor is rude and arrogant and dishonest. I had been to my physician that I had been to for 19 years, but wanted to find a new doctor closer to where I moved to. I was sick in December 2021 with water in my ears, and alot of congestion, was put on medicine and cleared up right away. now 3 years later in April same thing happen, went to old doctor put on steroid and antibiotic and 5 days later pretty good. If I had the ability to give a zero I would. I don’t necessarily have an opinion either way on this Doctor‘s ability to do his job. But his superior smug demeanor, and his refusal to do what the patient asks, is bad.This doctor and. his medical assistant are both smug and rude. I called in to explain that with all the changes in medication by insurance company was requiring me to do a simple blood test, but it needed to be done as quickly as possible.
