I am a week post surgery. I am satisfied with my recovery at this point, and feel I got good care.

Dr. Taylor is a good listener. I felt very comfortable sharing information with him and he was very responsive to the issues I am having with my shoulders. He included me in the discussion to make a plan to resolve the issues.

Dr. Taylor is so great! He is personable and not a doc who is jumping to do surgery every chance. He wants to rule everything out and doing surgery as a last resort. He cares about the patient’s input and also other care providers. He read my PT’s progress note and took what she said into consideration. I am a PT myself and was recommended to him by other PTs. He communicates with the PTs providing care to his patients. He truly cares about his patients and wants to make sure he figures out the root cause and not jump into t... read more

He is the worst doctor I’ve ever had. He did a shoulder replacement on me. I knew something was wrong the day after. It is a lot worse than it was to start with. I blame my self for letting him operate on me. He made me feel that it was going to really help me. I stayed with him for a 18 months after the replacement and went through test after test and 2 years later it still doesn’t work correctly. He took my golf and my bike riding away from me. I finally went and found another doctor. I am hoping that he can at least get s... read more

I think Dr. Austin is a very good surgeon. But I have had problems getting his help after surgery. My surgery was scheduled at the very end of December. Dr. Taylor was sick & could not do my surgery, as scheduled, so it had to be rescheduled in January. The hospital/insurance company charged me with the $6000 out of pocket expenses again. The hospital said they could work with me if the physician wrote a letter saying it was not my fault. After many requests, he has not done this.
