Came with urgent care referral, still waited for almost 8 hours, said there was only one doctor. It’s an emergency department, anything bad could happen.

I had an excellent experience at Austin Hospital Emergency Department. I was expecting to wait for hours, but I was seen in about an hour and a half, which I thought was very reasonable considering how busy emergency departments can be. The waiting time was far too long, and the entire process was very slow. The nurses and doctors seemed overwhelmed, resulting in significant delays at every step. Better organization and faster service are urgently needed.
