Dr Cober was great to work with. He did a post mastectomy reconstruction and then a tummy tuck. He is attentive, never in a hurry, always had time for my questions and concerns and his work is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Great physician, very attentive and professional. Highly satisfied with my procedure (double incision mastectomy, FTM chest reconstruction).

Dr Hayes is one of the best. He is an excellent listener, he has empathy and is a skilled Surgeon. He performed a surgery on me last year to fix a mistake made by another Surgeon. It was complex and not typical to what he normally does. His preparation for the surgery was thorough and well researched. His post surgery care has been incredible. He is very quick to respond to questions that I have. I recommend him without hesitation.

Eleven years ago, I had a lumpectomy. At the time, most insurances didn't pay re-construction for lumpectomy, only mast. Meanwhile, I hated the way I looked and was always self-conscious. Dr. Cober ended all that anxiety for me after he performed a breast re-construction last March 2016. He was kind, professional, and very well informed right from the beginning. He was attentive for follow-up appointments. Finally, when I was able to see the result of the surgery, I was so happy. Happier than I had been in a long time. Dr. C... read more

I arrived at the emergency room (St Vincent's) with a badly infected hand. Fortunately, the staff called in Dr. Hayes. It was clear he knew exactly what to do. He cleaned out the wound, but what I appreciated was his sensitivity to the amount of pain I was in. I'm sure he could have done it more quickly, but the pain was excruciating and despite my assurances that it was fine and he should do what he needed to do, he stopped a number of times to make sure I could tolerate the pain. he is a gem!

Dr. Austin Hayes in Hillsboro, Oregon performed my surgery right there at the surgery center in same building as his office. The whole team was great! Everyone so thoughtful and caring! Right from our first visit he went over and beyond on letting me know everything right up front, he is very detailed about everything. He takes his time answering any and all questions you have, he don't rush through it he makes sure you fully understand everything involved. Overall A+++++++++ Thank you!!

I was diagnosed at the age of 35 with stage 3 triple-positive breast cancer. I underwent a bilateral mastectomy, 28 rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and a complete hysterectomy to follow. At the time of my diagnosis in 2006, I was reconstructed with silicone implants. Over time my body began forming scar tissue around the implant until it became so painful and tight that I had to have another surgery. My choices were either get new implants and wait for history to repeat itself with more future surgeries, or a DIEP reconst... read more
