I had cataract surgery by Dr Bui on 7/5 left eye and 7/12 right eye, I was very scare but Dr Bui and staff made it a painless and effortless experience. I recommend Dr Bui and Austin Eye to anyone looking for caring service.
I was more than angry that my appointment was at 4:45 and I didn't get seen till almost 6:30. Furious is more how I felt!! But the doctor was not happy at all that I had to wait that long. He was a great doctor and I believe he's helped my dry eyes! We'll see!
Had cataract surgery today (6/8/17). The entire staff has been great for the entire process and the day of the procedure the staff and Dr Shannon Wong couldn't have been more professional along with easing all nerves I had going in. I'm scheduled to have the second eye done in a couple weeks and have absolutely no concerns. Thanks to the entire Team for making this type of experience goes as smoothly as possible.
I had lasik surgery here in 1997 ... my distance vision is still 20/20 ... My wife just completed cataract surgery for both eyes yesterday, and was told today she is 20/20 in both eyes now as well. I cannot recommend Dr Shannon Wong and Austin Eye highly enough ... I have trusted him with my vision and now my wife's vision for over 20 years. Enough said ...
This place does excellent work. I had laser surgery here 13 years ago (2004) to correct astigmatism and far-sightedness. I've had 20/20 vision ever since I left their offices!

Dr. Wong has run his Dad's practice into the ground! He has ZERO bedside manner and talks to patients like their stupid! The worst bedside manner I've ever been exposed to, and rushes patients in an out like their cattle! All he cares about is money, not people. I'm sure your Dad is sooooo disappointed in you Shannon!!!!!!!!! We went to Lake Austin Eye and it was so much better!! They took the time to diagnose my Dad and treated him like a doctor SHOULD treat his patients. Try Lake Austin Eye instead! They will take care of ... read more
