I am extremely upset and angry with this place! I received a bill for nearly $400. I called **** to ask about the bill and they told me that it was Austin Breast Imaging billing departments fault for the bill. **** told me that when they filed the claim on 09/27/2024, they did not include two charges for the imaging. **** gave them 185 days to refile the claim. I recommend to never go here. I had a follow up mammogram since the first one at Austin OBGYN said I needed one and recommended I go to Austin Breast Imaging. After reading several bad reviews on the billing, I called them to see how much it would be since my insurance does not cover diagnostic work. They said it would be no more than $250. Guess what?!?! I give them Zero Stars!I went here Monday, May 23rd for a breast X-Ray and Ultrasound and charged $313.00 to my credit card. I have been fighting to receive a Detailed Receipt to submit to my insurance for reimbursement. I finally received my receipt on July 7th. My credit card receipt states my charge paid that day was to ******************** for $313.00. The "Detailed" Receipt I received from them says that the patient balance is $63.62 and the receipt is from an ARA Diagnostic Imaging. My insurance claim states they bille... read more
Office did tests in addition to what my doctor referred me for. They did not inform me of additional tests, explain why I was receiving tests or additional costs. I trusted them to help me through this process. They not only failed, but violated Texas law stating that you must disclose costs to customers. I have tried multiple times to speak with someone, and the response has been "the tests have been done, and they don't care about money in the backroom." This is not only wrong, but illegal. RecommendedI had a wonderful experience here this morning at the MoPac location. I’m a breast cancer survivor (diagnosed in August 2018), and this was my first mammogram since then. The office is clean, beautiful, and not cold (which is a big deal to me). My tech, Lisa, was very kind, compassionate, friendly, and efficient. The radiologist, Dr. Tarwal, was very kind, warm, and professional. The wait time was also minimal. I was very pleased with my experience here, and highly recommend this facility.
last year they billed me for my breast screening in spite of the fact they had my medicare and insurance info. Also for some reason the wait time was very long. The Dr I meet with, sorry I forget her name, was wonderful.
The entire staff was great & just so kind. Highly recommend!
If you like poor management and unethical billing practices, this is the place for you. Any “good” service at my appointment was far outweighed by the complete unresponsiveness in customer service. I received an outrageous, surprise bill FOUR months after my exam. After calling them out on their attempt at insurance fraud, I received a revised outrageous bill but still NO response to any of my questions or concerns regarding their service or billing practices.
