This is a great vet, but my dog was hurting today, a Wednesday, and I needed to get him some help; I called for hours and no one answered the phone. There are no business hours listed anywhere online, so I didn't know if I should keep trying, or call another vet, or if they were no loner in business, or what was going on. Posting some business hours online and leaving a message on the phone if closed would be very helpful to us and our pets.
Like an old town country doctor who cares and does what he can to help, couldn't say enough about how well pleased myself or wife (or dogs) are about the entire place. Went to another new location, they tried to get more appointments and of course $ from us for no reason (annual check ups and what not). This is an honest down to earth good ole country animal doctor, first place I'd tell anyone to go.
Dr Tarlton saved our cat 3 years ago. He got out thanks to workers laying our flooring. Our boy was bitten by a Racoon. We got hit with a $2,000 bill over Xmas by the costly Emergency vet hospital. They wanted another $2K to bandage our cat for weeks! Dr. Tarlton ripped off their silly sewed on bandage which looked like a wrapped present on his butt. He gave us Granulex to spray on him. Love how he support the community. I just wish somehow we can find the next time he doing his community drive so we can get our dog next booster shot
We just found a Chihuahua, light brown in color. He has no name tags and only 2 rabies vaccination tags from this vet. We him for a chip and the emergency pet care of round rock could not locate the chip. Hoping that these rabies tags can direct us to the owner. See photos in comments.
The only thing is that it is hard to get a hold of someone on phone to make an appointment
