I am the owner of Austin American Awning. We are starting our 18th year this November. I can never figure out how to get into these sites because it is so long between visits. Bossy Coronado who is mentioned in a previous review is no longer associated with Austin American Awning. Several of the reviews may have been placed by Coronado after he left. I checked the BBB rating for this company and found it has a F rating, that is never good. Would not use this company.
This was the WORST experience of my life!!!!! I will absolutely NEVER work with them again. Final product - so far so good. Customer service - couldn't have been more catastrophic. Punctuality and communication - non existent. I should have seen the warning signs - the first day Bossy came out to see my property he did not even have a tape measure and had to use mine. Wow, these guys are real flakes. They did not show for the first two appointments and apologized of course. Today, I left work an hour early after "Bossy" said he would meet at 3pm. I called at 3:15pm after they did not show and some other genius over there said "uhhh that aint gonna happen, we're real busy". Get ready for some real crappy customer service if you cant find anyone else. AVOID otherwise.
I would never recommend this company to anyone!!! They are extremely dishonest and do not return calls unless it involves payment. They have consistent turnover in staff -- you are treated as a number NOT as a customer. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!
AFFORDABLE-GREAT SERVICE- – Austin American Awning did the awning for our baseball field concession stand. The color is just right for our team and the company had the most affordable bid. The awning was installed when they said it would be installed and we are very happy now that our customers have some shade when they are standing in line. We enjoyed all of their team members starting with Roger the salesman and finishing with Freddy the installer.We would reccomend them to anyone needing and awning.

Be Careful!! The company owner and reps will come across very professional, however, be aware they will get midway thru your project and then the excuses will come. The company is broke and pays for previous projects with new contract money. Please beware!!

Drop Curtain for Studio – I had Austin American Awning make me a drop curtain for separate a room for my studio. The curtain fit perfect, and looks great in the studio.
