Couldn’t have been any more helpful thanks to John and David ! Due to the manufacturer no longer producing the evaporator for my type of vehicle I approached Auscoil hoping that they could reproduce a custom made compatible unit which they did quickly and professionally, 5 stars to this business and nice cool motoring.
Wonderful people to deal with until there is a problem. Sent an automotive evaporator coil to austcoil for remanufacture of a new coil to suit. Paid around $1000 and waited 5 weeks for turnaround. Part arrived, fitted deep within the HVAC under the dashboard. Air-conditioner mechanic attempted to gas the AC system and could not pull vacuum. Found that the new supplied evaporator had a 3mm crack where the copper tube was flared during manufacture.
