About this business
The mission of the non-profit, volunteer organizing committee - AuSable River International Canoe Marathon, Inc. (ARICM) - is to organize and promote the annual AuSable River Canoe Marathon, generate public exposure of the communities in the AuSable River Valley and increase awareness of our unique natural resource: The AuSable River Thousands of volunteer hours are annually contributed by the committee members and other fans toward fulfilling the mission of ARICM and staging this epic world class endurance event.

There's nothing like this race! Wish I could be there to see it again. I hope Matt Meersman does well and that all racers can finish.

What a great year love the changes talent show was amazing
I just think these are some tremendous athletes competing! I’ve been a fan for years and love taking my kayak on the mainstream and landing at my favorite sandy beach and watching the last of the racers go by and cheering them on! These are the blood and guts racers! The folks that are competing to finish this grueling race.
I will be there again this year cheering on my son Matt Meersman and his partner, Danny Medina - Team 63. This is a grueling spectator race but nothing compared to what the paddlers do. So proud and impressed of everyone who competes. Not easy to pull an all-nighter at my age but so rewarding to be there.
the most fun spectator sport I have been to.. this will be our 4th year in a row.
