I went to the ER at Aurora West Allis Medical Center and was billed $4,465 for one visit. After a $2,232.50 'discount,' I’m still left with a $2,232.50 bill. The charges? $3,430 for the ER visit (Level 5), $400 for a chest X-ray, $280 for an ECG, $175 for lab work, and $180 for a clinic visit The nurse only came in twice, the first time about an hour and a half after I was already in the room, and the second time to show me the door. I have never, ever, in my half century on this planet, have I ever seen such a dirty "medical" facility. Other than everyone there having obvious cleanliness issues, the nurses were exceptionally kind. Honestly, the hospital's only reaction or retort to my photos should be photos of all this filth cleaned up. Gross.

This place is horrible I asked to speak to a patient advocate to file a formal grievance as to why nurses refuse to assist me with my ADL's as of September 3rd 2025 (I am autistic and incapable of caring for my own ADL's) they got mouthy with me during a phonecall so i wanted to speak to a supervisor, hospital security spoke with me saying its not hospital nurses jobs to care for my ADLs while in the ER then tresspassed me.
