girlfriend appendix burst , waited 2 and a half hours for help and left to go to different er. also let her uncle have a heart attack WHILE WAITING.

i went in 05/31 @10pm with severe vomiting every 20 minutes without being able to hold anything down for over 18+ hours that did not improve with supportive care. The nurses and doctor were very kind, thoughtful, and willing to help. They gave me more fluids and stronger medication that left me only vomiting once compared to every 20 minutes. Would recommend and go again in future if needed!

Apparently bleeding excessively is not an urgent matter! waited over 2 hours and still wasn't seen! I left to go to another hospital! GO TO A DIFFERENT ER OR HOSPITAL!!!

I was honestly shocked to have gone through and read all of the grievances from other patients with regards to AWAMC's ED. I was seen here on Tuesday, sent over by UC. Yes, the wait wasn't ideal although there was quite the influx of patients ahead of me. There were overhead alerts going off due to "high ED census."
