We had a wonderful experience. We went to Auro for my birthday dinner and the service was amazing. It’s expensive but indeed a very good experience.
I was super-excited to celebrate my wedding anniversary here with my beautiful wife. (15 years!!!) We were busy packing our fancy clothes and dreaming blissful thoughts about ditching our kids when the restaurant notified us that they were cancelling our reservation. Why would they cancel 2 days before our departure when we have no chance to get another reservation? Was there a fire? Was Napa ravaged by a zombie apocalypse?? No! PROCEED WITH CAUTION. They canceled our reservation for our 15 year wedding anniversary 4 days before our booking when it is nearly impossible to get other reservations at that time. Their excuse? They got a full restaurant buyout. Fine dining establishments like this know people are coming to celebrate big life milestones and people really look forward to it.
