We drove an hour and half (3 hrs round trip) to the restaurant. Despite making our reservation for this restaurant, we arrived to find that we had been booked at their sister restaurant next door. This wasn’t an error on our part, We emailed to confirm our dietary restrictions. They were able to confirm they did receive our email at Auro not the sister property with no response. June 10 & June 11 2026; Amazing Nights! When you have a reservation for a dining experience on a Michelin Star Restaurant, your expectations are really high. At the end of the night and doing a separation between a “wao factor” and reality, you are on a position to get an honest opinion. Auro is a fantastic dining experience with an elegant, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service. The food was beautifully presented, creative, and full of fresh, delicious flavors. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was polished and memorable from start to finish. Definitely a wonderful place to dine in Calistoga—I’d happily come back!
Really enjoyed the tasting menu, a bit on the pricey side but worth the price.
