If this place was smart they would find a different system than epic. It’s the biggest headache and it helps no one. I don’t know who was in charge of making this change but they really messed up big time. There is zero transparency with that system. Paying a bill shouldn’t be like getting a root canal every time. It’s almost enough to just go the extra 20 minutes over to Aiken regional🤷‍♀️

Waited an hour after my appointment time only to be told the doctor I had an appointment with did not have a room. Then was told she couldn't see me after I drove 2 hours and my husband took a day off work to be there. Was told they would find someone else to see me. At 11:40, an hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time, we stood up to leave and then people rush to get us a doctor. The doctor rapid fired questions at me and would not wait for my responses. I tried to call the emergency room at Wellstar MCG on 3/14/2025 in an effort to find my husband who had been taken by ambulance to an ER. I did not know which one. When I called, I got a recording that stated that they were not open and to call back at a later time. No operator answered, and no part of the recording offered any prompts that would connect me to a live person.
