We attended this Octoberfest fest for the first time, very disappointed, no dance floor whatsoever, you had great bands. And when you say german food our idea of german food is more than a brat with or without kraut. I do have to commend you on the idea of the unused tickets going to vets. Glad we came, beautiful grounds, but wouldn't return for Octoberfest, to us Octoberfest is more than just drinking beer.
We have been to the Schells Octoberfest three out of four years and I've always appreciated the hospitality and generosity of the Marti family and staff to sponsor an event and invite a crowd to enjoy their beautiful setting. I know you work your butts off to make sure everyone can have a great time! Thank you so much.. We'll be back!
If you didn't have fun... it was probably your own fault...
We visit here every fall, and always have a great time! The beer garden was awesome, and the kids enjoyed the 1919 root beer!!
Love the history of this place. Great museum, fun gift shop, wonderful tour guides and great beer! Our kids love the 1919 root beer. I love the addition of the bier garden this summer too!
Excellent tour of one of Minnesota's treasures.. Thanks
The tour was very informative. It was great to hear the history of the second oldest brewery in the country, besides just hearing how the beer is made. Very generous sampling, as well. Pretty much awesome. Can't wait to take a certain daughter and son-in-law there when they move back from Germany.
Great tour, great tour guide (Dave) and great beer!!
By far the best selection of beer! I was really sad when I went on the website to locate which liquor store sold Grain Belt Blu. The website stated that my nearest liquor store sold it, but after going to the store I found out the only way to purchase it is in 16 gallon kegs. Please Can and Bottle Blu !!! It will fly off the shelves !!!!!
