We have been to August First several times and enjoyed the food. This time, the food was still good, but the cappucino was not made properly, and the service was brusque and off putting. The woman taking our order acted as if she was doing us a favor by taking our order. First time we didn't leave a tip in years. With so many great places to eat in Burlington, I am sad to say we won't come back.

RecommendedWe loved August 1st!:It was out first time visiting and the staff were super friendly and suggested great choices! I am not sure which I enjoyed more the raspberry jam or the maple biscuit?!!
RecommendedAmazing food! The only thing I found hard about my experience was waiting by the counter for someone to call our names to get our. Something like a pager or a text that let you know your food was ready would have made the experience much more enjoyable. This way I could have enjoyed the wait with my party. I never mind waiting for good food but the fact that I could do it with the folks I came to eat with made it not so enjoyable. Again the food and coffee were amazing!
