Over the last 21 years, this animal-rehabilitation center has treated and released more than 7,000 birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, vultures and owls. To learn more about these creatures, come by for a visit to Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Twenty-two species are on view, including the famous bald eagles. The animals here cannot be returned to the wild, mostly because of health reasons. The center also hosts an adopt-a-wild-bird program.

It was so cool to see all the birds. There is a lot of care taken to ensure they live their best lives and are well tended to. Beautiful animals and a wonderful facility.
This place was such an amazing experience. It's small and was a totally unexpected highlight of our Orlando vacation. The people there are so passionate about what they do, which is rescuing injured birds and trying to rehabilitate them back into the wild. They have a miniature screech owl that is just about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, his name is Stanford
Beautiful environment! Very educational! Highly recommend for anyone of any age! Inexpensive
Always fun to visit! Staff is awesome and so friendly. So lucky to have this center right here in Maitland.
A great explanation an info book given on entering, several kinds n sizes of birds, all areas well marked n info as to why they are in need of attention and recovery. Our two grand kids were very interested, learned a lot n had as we did an overall great experience!
What a cool little place! We enjoyed watching and photographing the birds and learning why some could never be rehabilitated and released.
It was reasonably priced with a fantastic owl crew. They were super chatty and cute. The bald eagles were majestic. And the other birds were sweet, too. Also, the staff is nice and informative. My DD loved the coloring, plushie collection and binoculars. We will definitely go back.
a amazing place and it teaches you a lot about these amazing birds
Went with a home school group. Guide (Laura) was very knowledgeable and this was shared in a fun and informative way. Birds used for education are unable to be released but seem healthy and happy. Enjoyed it very much.
