RecommendedLovely place to spend a couple of hours outdoors. Lots of raptors, several bald eagles. This refuge is not crowded at all, well organized (despite the fact they appear to run on a shoestring) and a welcome respite from the theme parks in the area.
RecommendedI recommend that you take your time and ask the staff and volunteers questions about the birds. They are ready and willing to answer them. I also recommend the annual pass and perhaps volunteering to help. You can learn a lot there.
RecommendedWonderful day out , we loved all the birds of prey and seeing them in their enclosures . Very knowledgeable staff!
