About this business

Over the last 21 years, this animal-rehabilitation center has treated and released more than 7,000 birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, vultures and owls. To learn more about these creatures, come by for a visit to Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Twenty-two species are on view, including the famous bald eagles. The animals here cannot be returned to the wild, mostly because of health reasons. The center also hosts an adopt-a-wild-bird program.

My daughter went to camp this summer at the center and absolutely loved it. The staff is so kind and welcoming and really helped nurture Kates love of nature and birds. A great choice and a great place!

Great place to visit and the staff is so good with all their birds! They took time with all of their visitors to answer any questions they had. We will definitely go back.

The volunteers and staff are amazing. They truly care about these creatures and are very educational on each and every species. You can feel the bonds between human and bird...thank you for sharing the facts and fun stories.

I brought my grandson here It was great and the people were awesome. The stories they told us about the birds and how the birds got here were great. I included myself in a 3rd grade class . Charlie being under 3 was sometimes interested. He got himself up front and listened with the older group. Susie even let me watch a video and keep my grandson amused. Thank you to everyone for a great day we will remember. Worth checking out.
