About this business

Over the last 21 years, this animal-rehabilitation center has treated and released more than 7,000 birds of prey, including eagles, hawks, vultures and owls. To learn more about these creatures, come by for a visit to Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. Twenty-two species are on view, including the famous bald eagles. The animals here cannot be returned to the wild, mostly because of health reasons. The center also hosts an adopt-a-wild-bird program.

The center is a wonderful place to visit. The work they do to educate the public about birds of prey is so important. They have rehabilitated so many birds that they could then release back to the wild. During our visit we were fortunate enough to see a black vulture training session and learned all about screech owls. Definitely worth a visit.

My family and I came here not knowing what to expect. It is a beautiful place and everyone was helpful and willing and wanting to educate you on the Birds. My 10yr old had a blast and would like to come back and volunteer! Love this place!!

Very awesome place. While we were there we also got to we woodpecker making a little home in a Palm tree. They also have a great little gazebo on the lake where you can take your own sandwiches or snacks and have a little relaxing snack while listening to the eagles and Hawks sing.

What a great little hidden gem. We got to see many birds up close. The staff was really nice too. Spent about an hour and a half there with 2 early elementary aged kiddos.
