Dr. McElroy is one of the most caring vets ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. Every one of my animals was comfortable with her from the start, and she takes time to make them feel safe and secure. It truly shows she cares about animals greatly. She is always so helpful and willing to sit through as many questions as I have and has never made me feel silly for asking about anything. She understands people aren't made of money and finds solutions that will work for you and not put you in debt. The rest of the staff is also ... read more
I am so thankful for the amazing staff at Auburn Vet. Hospital. I am not from Auburn, but had a sick puppy who had eaten a toy. He needed surgery, and the staff was so empathetic and helpful during this scary time. Financial costs for surgery can become expensive, but the sweet doctor was able to make out a plan for us. They saved our sweet baby & were so amazing throughout the entire process. I will now be driving over an hour for any vet appointment due to the great experience I had here. I will forever be thankful for the... read more
Great care for our cats!!!
My poor little Bulldog supposedly just had a urinary tract infection & “crystals” forming in his bladder. After three weeks of using my regular vet & seeing no improvement, I asked for a referral to Auburn. They found over 30 stones in his bladder & urethra. They had to surgically reroute his urethra. The doctors and veterinary students all treated him with so much love and care. The surgery was pretty intense, but thanks to Auburn Vet Hospital, my sweet boy is coming home tomorrow.
I can't say enough about the entire staff here! Dr. McElroy & her staff have been amazing to us since day 1. They are all friendly, personable & communicative, & so so helpful! They have worked with us to decide on the best course of treatment for our dog, been understanding & very informative, & have gone above & beyond to refer us to multiple orthopedic surgeons to best fit our situation. I ( & my dog) have never enjoyed a vet as much as we do Auburn Vet Hospital!
I would like to thank you all for your loving care of our sweet love Little Man. We thought we has lost him. If we had not he would not be with us. He brings us so much joy. We still have long way to go but he is not in danger of leaving us. Thanks to your care. This lifelong Alabama fan offers you a War Eagle! Thank you all so much. God Bless you all for what you do.
Love this place! They are fairly priced and always give our animals the best care.
I took a semi feral cat to Dr. Smith earlier this week for her to get tested for leukemia and AIDS, vaccines, microchip, and spay. The whole experience was very easy and efficient. The staff were very nice and professional. Dr. Smith handled the cat very well. The incision and recovery exceeded my expectations. The cat was 100% back to normal within 12 hours of her surgery. I am very satisfied with my experience and I recommend this hospital.
