Au Bon Pain - Harvard Square This is a great au bon pain to sit at, as it is right next to the Harvard Square T stop and very large. The sandwiches are delicious. I would recommend the Portobello and goat cheese sandwich on a sun dried tomato baguette. Also between 4 - 6 all of the bakery items are half price.
I hate to give a bad review. I’ve had good sandwiches here many times. But recently I have had some really bad experiences. Sloppy. Squished sandwiches. Less quality than advertised. This BLT with ONE slice (the end of a tomato) & no mayo?! Pretty poor excuse of a sandwich & not worth the $5.00 that I paid. Ordered online & got there 5 minutes & there was no one in line. No excuse for such a bad sandwich if it’s not even busy.
The place was clean and really organized! I Loved loved loved the food! 😍
Sandwich place that doesn't know what mustard is, or how to spell simple, common first names. I think the employees actually have a daily competition to see who can complete tasks the slowest. Food isn't bad if you survive the wave of incompetence that hits you as soon as you walk in the door.
