So, let me begin with this was our first time visiting Atwater Monroe. My first impression wasn't all that great. We stood waiting for someone to seat us. Let me add the place wasn't THAT busy for a Saturday evening. 4 waitresses were standing by an upright cooler talking to each other. We were eager to try this restaurant on Friday at 7:15. We were seated at 7:15 and left at 7:30 after not having our order taken. Poor service. Won’t be back. Wouldn’t recommend.
We were really looking forward to trying Atwater Street Taco, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, there were only two other people in the entire restaurant. Despite dozens of empty tables, we were seated directly next to another couple on a shared bench seat. I highly recommend the fajita fries!!!
Food was the best in Monroe, as usual. The technology never moved from ‘preparing your order’. I finally went in to check and it had been ready for over 10 minutes. But to food more than made up for that.
