I’ve worked with Attento Counseling on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. My first therapist didn’t really dive into the issues I wanted to address, so I decided to switch to another therapist. With my second therapist, I consistently experienced late session starts, and on multiple occasions, I waited over 10 minutes without communication. I began counseling sessions with Phillip Atkinson at the Marietta location in 2025, and I was totally pleased, helped, and amazed by him. Phillip was personable, relatable, caring, and even super-generous with his time. He even gave me a free 15-minute consult on the phone to see if we clicked, and I felt his warmth and sincerity immediately.
