During our spring vacation in June 2017, my husband fell in the middle of the night and needed stitches along his eyebrow. We drove to the new hospital cemesa at 2 am. Long story short - 5 stitches later (along with two numbing shots - nothing else) we were billed (in September of 2017) $2716 USD. I almost passed out. Bottom line - we will find other places for care on our future trips to Roatan. You also can't leave the hospital until you put down a deposit (ours was $450 USD). Billing was a mess.
