Our nurse Bobby in the PICU was the best nurse we have ever had. He made us feel at ease during a very stressful time, explained everything clearly, and was always there whenever we needed him. My roommate Amy started having seizures at the house, she kept getting worse and worse in the car on the way there. When I got to the front of the ER, I signaled them to rush to the car, several people did, she was non verbal and in full seizure, I've never been more horrified before watching the state of her in that car.. If I could rate it a 0 star I would. • the lobby was filthy and small • parking horrible • chest pain with no EKG and labs in timely manner • no RN assessed me. Only a paramedic doing my IV was asking questions and that was just to make convo • seen a resident then attending who were not on the same page about my care • they didn’t redraw my 2 hour trop - was 4 hours later and still didn’t • gave me meds and didn’t reassess how I felt • literally nobody spoke with me and the ones that did didn’t take me seriously. I was brought there by ambulance and admitted. While I was there, the doctors decided to take me off of a medication that I had been on for close to 15 years. They said that it was causing my medical problems. They started me on a different medication. They obviously didn't do their research because the new medication causes the same medical problems.
