Awful birth, awful experience. I Was not heard, or respected as a patient. When making requests, RN ignored me. Midwife wasn’t even around that much even though I was her only patient for the night. She never asked about my birth plan, nor asked to review it even though I had it printed. Lesson learned, I’ll never not get a doula, but even better I’ll never give birth at atrium again, novant here I come. We had an AMAZING experience in labor and delivery at CMC main with the women’s care team. Trey and Tori were our nurses during labor and I cannot express how amazing they both are at their jobs. Trey was new at this speciality and acted like a pro and kept me calm and reassured me and took care of me one on one for 12 hours up until I delivered.
