The best hospital in my opinion. Never a long wait. The hospitalists, nurses, and er doctors all listen to your concerns and make you feel important. If you’re ever lucky enough to have Natasha as your nurse, you’re in the best hands. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Clean, beautiful, and well managed. Big fan.
I was unable to stand and no one would come out and get me. 2 or 3 guards watched my wife struggle trying to open the wheelchair. I finally struggled my way in about to fall, but now the guard gets involved in my removing items from my pockets. One was playing on his phone and the other wouldn't move to help. Ivan, Kiana and the doctor were great. There's no sense in that BS not helping me and my wife.
My insurance simply will not go through here because apparently their payment processor PaymentsMD is "not covered by insurance." Which makes no sense. Payment processors should have nothing to do with insurance. It's a payment processor. Not a healthcare facility or provider. When I try to call these people, I get an AI agent, then some agent at a call center that is impossible to understand, sounds like they read from a script, and gives answers that don't seem to be related to what I'm saying. THANK YOU SPENCER & MARY!! I recently had a brain MRI, and I was EXTREMELY anxious, but Spencer and Mary completely turned the experience around for me. Spencer was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring! He knew I was nervous and kept checking on me and comforting me throughout the entire process, making sure I felt safe the whole time. Released my son with fractured hip and femur. Because of a biased opinion. They wouldn't listen to anything related to other health issues. Added note to Atrium: your senior pharmacist asked about the red-headed gene in our family. The VA did a pharmacological DNA evaluation. Guess what? He has the marker! NOT DRUG SEEKING! He actually processes medication at elevated doses like they were an aspirin. Go back to reading medical journals! I have.
