My mom was in the hospital for a week. Medicare didn't cover some self-administered drugs that the hospital gave her. From my understanding, you are not allowed to take drugs that you bring with you during your stay, but we will in the future bring lots of our own drugs since the hospital has no business giving a person drugs that insurance isn't going to cover. This is a ripoff practice.
