We came here because my daughter had been having an ongoing cough for about a week and a half. Three different staff members came in, but none of them actually addressed the reason we were there. They kept repeating the same basic suggestions I had already told them I’d tried, and seemed more focused on getting us discharged than finding a real solution. I cannot speak more highly of our experience tonight! Every single person we encountered was so nice and welcoming! The nurses we had were amazing I wish I remembered their names! Dr. Hamm and Dr. Allen were so amazing and kept my son in the best of spirits! This is our first time having to experience the ER since moving to Charlotte and I’m so thankful for the positive visit!

My daughter was lethargic and just not feeling herself for a couple of days so I decided to take her to the emergency room. It’s seemed their number one concern was if she had been fully vaccinated up until that point. Which she had (sometimes I wish I never did but the pediatricians push vaccines so hard to the point that you can feel them swaying their notes in a tone that you’re an unfit parent if you refuse them.. that’s another story) They decided to deem it appropriate to put an IV in her arm and draw blood. I felt like my 1yo daughter got great care today from the team at Levine. They took our concerns seriously and she improved so much after being treated. I can’t remember everyone’s names but the care coordinator Nefertiti, Child Life team, med student Allison, US IV nurse Erika, and Drs DiMeo and Magill really stood out as excellent to me.
