I've had colitis for 39 years, recently moved here from PA, so have had several gastroenterologists and PAs over the years. I was very impressed with my experience at Atrium Health Digestive. My PA was knowledgeable and friendly. I was relieved she was willing to prescribe my medication right away, it keeps my disease under control.
Ciel Harris MD was professional, engaging, compassionate, expert care without complications.The Atrium surgery center is modern and well-equipped, with experienced and friendly staff. Dr. Harris called my husband with the findings of the colonoscopy, very reassuring. Anaesthesia was fantastic. Clear instructions and excellent follow up.
This place and especially Erin Benefiel, PA has really screwed me over! Was not informed a colonoscopy would be coded as diagnostic rather than preventative (had a preventative available though my insurance provider). So instead of 100% No Deductible FREE, I now have over a $3000 bill for portion insurance did not cover. I COULD HAVE CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SCHEDULED A PREVENTITIVE COLONOSCOPY THAT WOULD HAVE COST ME NOTHING!!!!!!!!
