I went in with unknown chest pains days after having both my hips replaced. We worried about blood clots. Initial tests were done. Last test was done and no results for hours. Nurses even said "we outsource our reading of certain tests and it sometimes takes 7 hours to get the results(that a professional could do in 15 mins). I walked out, with the IV port still in my arm.
