My wife was recently taken to the ER after a fall and had the worst treatment I can remember. She was moved from hallway to treatment room, back to hallway and moved from one section of the hallway to another over a period of 8 hours. With one exception, i.e., nurse Jabree who was a gem, she was either mostly ignored or treated like she was a total burden. The process of taking a loved one to pre-op is grueling!! You have to go through security and then you wait in line to get checked in by the surgeon’s staff, then the person waiting for the patient has to wait to check in again just to sit in the waiting room. Only 1 family member can go back to see the patient before surgery and they will not let people switch out to let in another family member! This is horrible! I had been to Carlina medicals in the.last.few.years.been.bad experiences but tonight was the worst march 13,2026 especially your doctors .The only person,I.seen as professional.Triahe RN nurse he was astounding.He showed a lot of concern @than he had to take me back himself because the other person triaged me did.not care.The others I seem professional your Police Officers at the ER door wonderful.
