RecommendedMy mother-in-law was there and was treated well. Aging is hard on the family, the person and the caretakers! Nobody enjoys watching our loved ones age and decline to where they need care. Some days are better than others for all involved. My advice: Visit loved ones as often as you can so you get to know the staff and understand your loved one’s status and see how much their caretakers love them.
Your loved one is truly safer not at Atria. They will be given better care in the morgue than here. Don't be fooled by a nice website or the looks of the place. You will not regret spending more and going literally anywhere else in Kansas.

I have worked here for 5 years and I absolutely love my job, my co-workers, and the residents. I am always happy at work because the residents are usually so happy.
My mother lives at Atria. For a long time I worried because she insisted on living in her home. She wasn’t able to take care of herself. Now I know she’s safe and has friends around her. She particularly enjoys her painting and crafts classes.
Atria is the best retirement senior living in topeka. we have the best location , staff and most of all our residents they are why I come back everyday!💞

My family member was apart of the memory care unit and I was told at the interview and tour that they would easily be able to provide the level of care she needed. WRONG!! Because of their lack of care she ended up with a very painful infection that required hospital treatment and because she would get agitated (very common for her stage of Alzheimer’s) instead of doing “as trained” they sent her to the ER which did nothing but get her out of their hair for a few hours and create a large hospital bill for no reason.
