Atria Tamarac has been my uncle's home for 7 years. He will be 100 in September and the reason is their great care, meals and activities. The employees know all the residents by name and treat all with respect. During these difficult times their diligence has kept this coronavirus from spreading in the community. Their director Gita has managed to keep family members aware weekly of what is happening in the community. I cant say enough about Atria Tamarac being a wonderful place for any senior. Thank you Atria for your great... read more
During this pandemic, Atria corporate has pulled all food service from each location and moved to a central downtown kitchen. The food has taken a nose dive and the residents are suffering for the bottom line profit. Food is cold and unappetizing. No mention was made to any family members or the residents until AFTER it was Implemented. What a lousy thing to do to our seniors durning a global pandemic! Now I have to find a new home for my father and move him. BE WARNED!!!

Hi Lorrie, we take reviews like these very seriously and would like to help. I’ve passed along your comments to the Executive Director who will follow up to discuss your concern and clarify a few things about Atria’s commissary program in Louisville. Thank you.
I have been working with Amy McCauley for a while now and she has been fantastic! I would recommend. Everyone in her community seems very warm and kind and the grounds are very nice, and they have awesome Koi Ponds! If they have Amy there, then I know I can trust them with my family. Amy McCauley the community sales director has shown to me to be a person to be very dedicated to helping others. This is definitely the kind of community one should move to!
I have heard nothing but great things about this company from my customers!
I no longer recommend Atria Park of Ann Arbor for a number of reasons. I have since moved my Mother to another assisted living community where she is now THRIVING again. During COVID19 when they would not let us visit my Mother, and they kept all residents sequestered in their rooms, they began increasing charges (By $1000 A MONTH!) because my Mother, who is on hospice and has dementia and Alzheimer’s, became severely depressed and confused on why she was not allowed out of her room. They began sedating her to the point of b... read more

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. It's unfortunate your experience doesn't reflect our high standard for delivering quality. We understand your frustrations around quarantine, but please know that the health and well-being of our residents is always our highest priority. While following all recommended guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the local health department, we are adapting to make sure residents stay engaged as well as maintain communication with loved o... read more
This place is the next thing to being at home. I am very pleased that my sister is so well taken care of.
My mom moved into Atria in September, 2019. She passed away last night of cancer. I can't say enough good things about the care she received. The staff has always be very caring, thoughtful, understanding and compassionate. They took the time to get to know my mom and comforted her during the beginning of her stay which was a trying time for her and they went above and beyond to make the most out of the very difficult Covid 19 lockdown. My mom developed special bonds wit… See more
I have been truly impressed by how proactive Atria is, from preparing for natural disasters to dealing with global pandemics. This is a company that yes is a business, but cares for both the residents and employees. There are such great incentives to take advantage of for the employees. The residents are engaged through out the day, evening, and yes weekends! There is clear communication with all involved, and expectations are clear. We get to put smiles on the faces of those we work with everyday, and that is the true bless... read more
