Andover place is the safest, friendliest, independent living community in central Arkansas. Go and see for yourself. They are open for live tours and you can even come to visit on the weekends. Enjoy!
As our health and age changed we knew Rock Creek was going to be home for us. We were welcomed home and it's great to belong to this community!
I toured this facility with my parents. They offer independent and assisted living and memory care. It is currently undergoing renovations which are sorely needed. The entire place had a very worn out air to it and I didn't think it was worth the price they were quoting due to how dim and dingy the apartments were. I hope they make some much needed improvements.
I have toured this facility a number of times while looking for a suitable apartment for my parents. Atria Carmichael Oaks has Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. All meals are provided and there seem to be lots of activities for the residents. It is not located next to any stores, however, so you would have to rely on transportation to get anywhere. The location is very nice, lots of different floor plans to choose from. The management staff are very nice and available 24-7. It is a safe and secure place. The only down side is the food and the dining service, slow, with minimal choices , and the meals are frequently served cold. The toast is rarely toasted.
Do not be fooled by Daisy Lopez/dr Hardy and the looks of this newer board and care home. Daisy is nothing more than a liar and cares only about the money she will be taking in. My family put my mother in this facilty last June and what a nitemare. Resulting in my moms death with the neglect she had in this facility. I beg you NOT to put your loved one in this home. THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE!!! DO NOT WORK HERE!! Or live here! This place doesn't even deserve one star! It's horrible! The place is dirty and unorganized! And the live in managers are just horrible! The food is bad as well. 0/10 would not recommend
We searched everywhere for a place for my Gma that was not "like a nursing home" but where she was safe, felt welcome and involved and received the care she needed! Atria is wonderful, everyone is so nice to both her and family, they keep us involved and really go out of their way to take care of Gma. We love it & most of all so does Gma!
Coming from someone who worked for this company, I can tell you that you may want to look somewhere else when trying to find a safe place for your loved ones to be looked upon.The Manor @ Oakridge is expensive, which is fine when you think you're getting your money's worth. However, the Management hired to work here does NOT care about your loved ones, they are rude and often neglect the residents. They're even worse towards their employees.
